Welcome to Restoration Church
You may sense a family atmosphere and a comfortable, non-religious spirit as you worship with us. This is not only the image we're trying to portray, but it is actually who we are. We genuinely enjoy being together and we believe that church should be a place that gives off the "aroma of God." Jesus must have been one of the most comfortable, non-pretentious people you could have met, and we feel that, as we gather in His name, that same spirit should be present. We hope you'll find that "non-religious" doesn't mean "irreligious." We have a deep respect and regard for holiness, obedience, and the move of the Holy Spirit, yet we believe that God wants us to live these principles out while being very real and approachable.
What We Believe
Jesus Christ We believe that Jesus is the only Savior, that He is God incarnate, and that He purchased our freedom from sin by His death, burial and resurrection. 1 Corinthians 15:1-3
The Authority of the Bible We believe the Bible is the Word of God and is the compass by which we direct the course of our lives in both belief and practice. 2 Timothy 3:16-17
The Trinity We believe the God of the Bible is one God revealing Himself in three Persons - Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He is the one true God. 1 John 5:7
Salvation By Grace We believe that we are restored to right relationship with God through His grace and our faith in Jesus Christ. Ephesians 2:8-9
Wholeness We believe Jesus made provision for mankind's healing of spirit, soul and body. 1 Peter 2:24
Spirit-Led Life We believe that the power of the Spirit is necessary in the work of salvation, sanctification and service, and we earnestly desire the infilling of the Holy Spirit and the gifts He gives us for use in serving God. Ephesians 5:17-19
The Kingdom of God We believe the Kingdom of God is here now and will continue to expand until Jesus is known in the earth. Our assignment is to proclaim the message of the Kingdom and make known the King. Hebrews 12:25-29
The Resurrection We believe the resurrection is past, present and future. We were raised from death to life when we were born again, our souls are being transformed and our minds renewed by the Spirit of the Lord, and our bodies will be changed and made alive at the resurrection of the dead. 1 Corinthians 15:2
