Restoration Church hosts Rick Warren's and John Baker's (of Saddleback Ministries) Celebrate Recovery Program, where folks have an opportunity to fellowship with others and celebrate God's Healing Power in their lives through the program's Eight Recovery Principles.
This experience allows those who walk and work through the program to experience profound life change and freedom from their hurts, habits and hang-ups. By working and applying these Biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from our addictive, compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy and - most importantly - a stronger personal relationship with God and with others. As we progress through the program, we discover our personal, loving and forgiving Higher Power - Jesus Christ, the one and only true Higher Power.
Meetings are held every Friday Night beginning at 6:00pm with dinner and fellowship for one hour, then at 7:00pm, Praise and Worship with The Solid Rock Praise Band, and then the general assembly Large Group Meeting. At 8:00pm we break off into our Small Group Gender-Based Meetings. We close the evening at 9:00pm with more fellowship and refreshments.

Hello my name is Mark and this is my lovely wife and partner in ministry, Roni.
Together we have faced some very challenging issues in our lives that have brought us to a crossroad. Life is all about choices and we have decided to choose the narrow road that leads to Jesus Christ and His healing power. Through Restoration Church and Celebrate Recovery we have succeeded in breaking loose from bondage. And have each made Him our Lord as well as our Savior.
I struggled with issues of un-forgiveness, pride and anger. To deny this and still be able to function and not deal with these strongholds or even acknowledge they existed, I drank.
As alcohol would have it, enough of this behavior on a regular basis would soon have me in a state of alcoholism “ my hiding Spot”. It took some time and the loss of two marriages for me to realize the trouble I was in. I then purposely played my trump card (restraining order) to receive some help. I was incarcerated and thru the Chaplain, I was introduced to a twelve step recovery program based on Biblical Principles. I quickly embraced this and re-dedicated my life to Christ. I was released, worked the steps and was on my way to recovery & freedom. A year later I met Roni thru God‘s Devine appointment. Come to CR and hear all about that!
It wasn’t until four years later from the time of my last episode, that Our church was about to embark on a similar mission and make these Steps available to our congregation and community thru Celebrate Recovery. I was asked to facilitate the men’s Chemically Dependant group and lead worship. I jumped at the chance to help others come to the same realization I had, in establishing an intimate relationship with Jesus and working these steps.
Roni was just coming for my support and got a hold of what we call issue tissues. They’re free handouts that identify areas of life that lead us to some degree of unmanageability. She soon could identify with some of those and became involved as well.
Our mission statement is simply this, if you are suffering with a hurt habit or hang-up come check us out. Those of you already involved in a 12 step recovery program come as well we are not here to replace that program but to enhance it. Give it six weeks and see if it is right for you.
