Our Mission
Our mission is, simply stated: Creating Completed Christians. By that we mean we have been called to help uncover the call of God in the life of each individual, to develop that call, and then to send out each individual. We use Small Groups to help us identify, train up and build the Body of Christ.
Our Vision
Imagine a group of surrendered and transformed people who love God, encourage each other, strengthen the weak, play together, seek out those who have lost their way, worship together, empower the downtrodden and delight in the joys of everyday life.
We are a relational church - we are a family. Relationships are the core of our existence - first and foremost our relationship to Jesus, and then to one another. Our relationship to Jesus is developed through knowing and doing His Word. Our relationship to each other as brothers and sisters in Christ is developed in the small group setting as we practice and experience the Word of God together. These are the core values that define our purpose and being.
Our Worship
We believe worship is the core of all our values. It’s the hub of the wheel and all our purposes — discipleship, evangelism, missions, relationship and prayer radiate out from that hub. It is not just something we do with music on Sunday mornings, it is our very lifestyle.
Core Values
The following list of values is what drives our actions at Restoration Church. These are the things we highly esteem; the things we will not compromise. These values drive our actions and how we spend our time, money and energy:
Christlikeness - We believe that the ultimate test of all we say, do, and plan can be evaluated for its worth by one standard alone - is it Christlike?
Restoring the Broken - We are committed to helping those who have lost their way, or have been wounded by the enemy of their souls. We believe and claim Jesus’ mission statement as our own: “…the LORD has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners…” Isaiah 61:1NIV
Equipping Leaders - We believe every Christian is called to lead his own life and thereby have an influence on others. We are intentionally training followers of Jesus to live effective lives - whether they are children, youth or adults.
