Our goal and vision for the children at Restoration Church is to create and promote an atmosphere in which the Holy Spirit will have an open corridor to work His will in the lives of children. Psalm 86:11 Teach me Your way, O Lord, and I will walk in Your truth; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear Your Name.
Currently, we are developing our own curriculum, creating fun and exciting ways to make Christ real and involving the children so they can express their faith at a young age. Psalm 119:11 says that if they hide God’s Word in their hearts, they will not sin against Him. Here at Restoration Church, we have created a safe, clean, fun-spirited environment for children of all ages. We even have a Bounce House! I count it a privilege to minister to my staff, the children, and to my God.
Nursery (Newborn — New Walkers)
This ministry is not about babysitting. We provide a warm, caring environment where your children can experience God’s love. We pray over, love on and impart God’s blessing on even the youngest child!
Toddlers (Not Potty Trained)
Children this age either love or hate coming to class! So we have designed the classroom in such a way that toddlers want to come in and stay awhile! We have a treehouse in the classroom, and the children love to play there as we teach them God’s precepts.
Pre-School (Ages 3 — 4)
Our desire is for children to come to know Jesus as Lord and to begin to learn about God and all His goodness and gifts. We are currently putting together our life-giving curriculum, which is current to today’s pre-school dynamics in growing their faith and Godly relationships.
Sunday School (Ages 5 — 8)
A dynamic, Spirit-filled service made just for children! Our Children’s Church is designed to parallel our adult services in many ways. Each service is jam-packed with exciting and creative teaching, puppets, drama and multi-media. We have a time of praise and worship, prayer, offerings, testimonies and recognition of first-time visitors. All is geared to effectively communicate the great truths found in the Word of God and the never-ending love of Jesus! It trains children now for a lifetime of service.
We have developed creative techniques to teach Bible memorization, such as:
7 things God hates
9 fruits of the Spirit
the Love Chapter, and many more!
Intermediate Elementary (Ages 9 — 11)
Children love to learn if we make it fun - and we do!
We meet corporately for lively Praise and Worship. Then we go to separate classrooms for age-appropriate learning. Come and join us!
