At Restoration Church, you'll hear the phrase, "Creating Completed Christians." You have a call of God on your life, and we believe it is our privilege to help you identify it and perfect it in you, to the glory of God. We understand that, as you begin to walk in your individual ministry, whatever it may be, we are helping to complete your Spiritual Journey.

Our vision is to raise up and pass on a culture of non-religious Christianity, which will be able to teach, mentor and disciple this same principle to generations through small groups and through an atmosphere of spiritual freedom and creativity.

Outreach Ministries

The purpose of the Outreach Ministry at Restoration Church is to meet the needs of those residents in Naples who cannot come to church.

Nursing Home Ministry

nursing home ministry

One of these ministries is visiting Nursing Homes. We have a group of volunteers who lead a church service at Harbor Chase on Tuesday mornings. This service includes music, sharing the Word, and visiting with the patients who cannot attend the chapel service.

Manor Care at Lely Palms is another facility that allows us to minister on the first and third Saturday morning of each month. One of the unique needs in nursing homes is patients who struggle with memory loss. Our ministering staff spends time with them, letting them know that they are loved and remembered. We also do a chapel at Lely Palms.

The number one problem in the nursing homes is loneliness. We try to meet that need.

Jail Ministry

For eight years we have been ministering at the Collier County Jail. That ministry consists of a Saturday morning chapel and an advanced Bible Study. The chapel sees different faces hearing the gospel weekly. There has been a harvest of souls in ten years that has just been a delight to see! The Advanced Bible Study is a discipleship program that gives homework designed to assist men in reading the whole Bible. We have seen men grow in this ministry to the point of discipling others. That’s the fruit of the Holy Spirit that we are looking for!

Read some portions of letters we have received from men written to us after they have left Collier County Jail:

“I would like to thank our Lord for what He has done for each one of us. I want to say to you and your wife thank you for helping us learn about God’s Word at Collier County Jail. Many of us would not know about the Lord without people like you, your wife, Bill Simpson and the other teachers. Now I would like you to tell the Bible Study class and the church group that I said hello and that I am doing just fine.”

and

“Greetings to you in the name of Jesus. I hope that you had a wonderful Christmas and I missed you but you remain in my prayers. I have many things to report so please forgive me if I ramble.

First of all the ministry is well and exciting in the jail. The men are worshipping with a passion …There are 64 guys in this dorm and one month ago when I arrived I started an evening worship service each night. It’s simply amazing to watch what God is doing. Our services are from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and the men still ask for more. We have praise and worship, scripture readings, preaching or teaching (depending on the how the Holy Spirit leads me) and end with altar call, prayer and singing. Harry, the Lord doesn’t do anything half way.”

These are from men who attended the Advanced Bible Class five and six years ago while they were still inmates. We love seeing God changing lives!
